1 .Water Treatment Technician

Job Description

• BASIC RESPONSIBILITIES፡ Responsible for effective operation and maintenance of different water treatment & supply systems that produce, store, circulate & supplies potable water to the hotel building complex and to pools, Jacuzzis, fountains, and air conditioning systems with the treatments being fully compliant with internationally accepted standards
• Water supply systems that produce, store, circulate & supplies potable water to the hotel building complex and to pools, Jacuzzis, fountains, and air conditioning systems with the treatments being fully compliant with internationally accepted standards.

Skills Competencies & Educational background:

1. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: In order to be considered for this position, applicants must possess the following minimum qualifications. Applicants without the below-listed qualifications need not apply as they will not be considered in the competitive pool.
Minimum of two years relevant work experience in water treatment systems for different applications together with sound knowledge in the effective operation of water treatment systems. In addition, the incumbent has knowledge in conducting laboratory analysis of water, understanding/interpreting results, and taking corrective measures. A combination of certification plus one-year relevant work experience in a reputable organization.
Language Proficiency: Fluent in English language conversation, well spoken, read, write, and understand English.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:

Ability to do water sample tests and analyzes test results and interpret that information to improve water quality.

1. Working knowledge of local and international water quality regulations
2. Sound knowledge of other technical disciplines, which interface with water treatment, e.g. HVAC, Plumbing, Electrical, Mechanical, and controls systems is desirable.
   Ability to properly document water treatment-related files, as per regulations & company policies.
   Ability to apply a professional approach to maintenance & operational problems.
   Ability to work with minimum supervision and handle multiple assignments
   Ability to conduct training; and must possess good communication skills in presenting technical reports.
     GROOMING: Must present a neat, clean, and well-groomed appearance per Marriott standards.

2 .Generator & Plant Room Attendant

Job Description

• BASIC RESPONSIBILITIES:  Responsible for the attendance and smooth operation of the Emergency Electric Power Generators and the relevant facilities of the plant room. Also responsible for the daily, weekly, and other planned preventive maintenance activities of Emergency Electric Power Generators & Fire Pump Generators, Generator Controls, Fuel Storage & Distribution Systems, Transformers, and low voltage rooms.  Besides, the applicant is responsible for proper record keeping of the operation & performance parameters of the generators, fuel storages, transformers & all electrometers.

 Skills Competencies & Educational background:

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: In order to be considered for this position, applicants must possess the following minimum qualifications. Applicants without the below-listed qualifications need not apply as they will not be considered in the competitive pool.
EDUCATION: Diploma in General Electricity or Auto Mechanics from a recognized College/Vocational School.

EXPERIENCE:  A Minimum of three years of work experience in the operation and maintenance of diesel generators, generator control systems, and medium voltage distribution systems.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES: the individual must possess the following knowledge, skills, and abilities and be able to explain and demonstrate that he or she can perform the essential functions of the job without reasonable accommodation, using some other combination of knowledge, skills, and abilities.
·         Must possess good knowledge of reading & understanding electrical circuit diagrams and mechanical layout drawings.
·         Must have good English language skills to facilitate an effective communication process.

·         Ability to work with minimum supervision and handle multiple assignments.
·         Must be capable of working in a team environment
·         Ability to learn new technology
