World Vision Ethiopia began its first intervention in Ethiopia in 1971 with relief and opened the Ethiopia office in 1975. Relief, rehabilitation, and small community development projects dominated the decade that followed. During the 1984/85 drought, World Vision Ethiopia participated in a massive relief operation that saved the lives of millions of people.
Starting its operation with emergency intervention in some parts of Ethiopia, World Vision currently operates in 48 Area Programs (APs) implementing effective programmes, such as Water, Sanitation and Hygiene (WASH), Integrated Livelihoods and Nutrition Security (ILaNS), Child Protection and Participation (CPP), Education and Life Skills (EdLS), Humanitarian and Emergency Affairs (HEA), Community Engagement and Sponsorship Plan (CESP) as well as grants projects.

1: Driver Mechanic
Skill and educational background
- 12th or 10+2, TVET Diploma, 3rd grade valid driving license (Must complete secondary school)
- Experience: Minimum of two years of related work (Minimum third grade driving license)

2: Supply Chain Manager
Skill and educational background
- BA/MA Degree in Business administration, Supply Chain/ Logistics Management, or Business Administration or Finance and/ or any related relevant field; professional qualification (advanced CIPS) is advantageous
- Experience: A minimum of five (5) years for (MA holders) (7) years for (BA Holders) of progressively responsible experience in supply chain management, contracts administration, out of which three (2) years of experience in people management
